My name is Bob Boster.  I am a sinner saved by grace through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  I have felt God's call for me to be in church ever since I could remember.  I attend a little Christian church in downtown Hodgenville.  Then, when I started middle school, I met a friend who invited me to South Fork Baptist Church.  It was there that the gospel seed was sown be several in the church.  And as that gospel seed gave forth fruit, I realized my need for Christ.  I surrendered my life to Christ as Lord and Savior and was baptized there at South Fork.
I have been blessed by being called here to Payneville Baptist Church.  My first Sunday was December 24, 2023.  This call, this church, this ministry was God's Christmas gift to me and my family.
We come from the LaRue County area and prior to coming to Payneville, Kentucky, lived in Hodgenville, Kentucky.  My wife and I moved into the LaRue County area when we were both kids.  So, both of us have grew up there. We met in the youth group at South Fork Baptist Church, dated off and on for about five years and then was married there at South Fork Baptist Church.
Tonya, my wife has endured me as her husband since July 3, 1993.  I say this simply because I have not always been the best husband.  Couple that with some other trials in our lives, she has been a rock for me and has had to endure me and with me through the trials of life.
Bella and Aiden are our two gifts from God.  Their stories are too long to tell in this quick bio of our family (plus, my wife always tells me I tell it wrong).  Both of them are adopted.  Bella comes from Guatemala and Aiden is from Kentucky.  Bella made it home right before here first birthday and we were able to pick Aiden up from the hospital after he was born.  They are both so precious and growing so quickly.
As we continue to build our site, I look forward to sharing more of my (our) story with you all.
